Alec grew up in a close-knit baseball family in Gilberts, Illinois, alongside his two brothers, his mother and his father. His mother was a dedicated pre-school teacher who now works as a project manager, and his father is a business operations analyst. In October 2025, Alec proudly became an uncle, adding a new chapter to his family’s story.
Alec graduated summa cum laude from Roosevelt University, completing both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees focused on clinical and neuropsychological coursework. He began his career in the community sector, dedicating four years to a domestic violence agency where he facilitated men’s groups and later transitioned into individual counseling. Alec also led the training of new staff, community advocates and frequently presented at public events. Alec’s passion for meditation, art, and music inspired him to integrate these and other modalities into his therapeutic practice.
The completion of graduate school opened the door for Alec to merge two of his deepest passions—financial markets and human psychology. Holding the Series 7 securities license, and working towards additional licensing, he brings a well-rounded understanding of investment principles alongside a behavioral perspective. With a lifelong fascination for behavioral economics, the history of commerce, and the role of money in human motivation, Alec recognized the unique value of integrating psychology with finance in today’s dynamic landscape. Upon joining T² Global Advisors, his knowledge of behavioral insights was seen as a key addition to the firm’s mission of enriching service and support for its client families.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Alec channels his creative energy into music production, guitar building, painting model cars, and maintaining his well-earned reputation as a Lego enthusiast. Coming from a baseball family, he continues his love for the game by playing in a yearly men’s softball league. He also is an avid golfer, getting on the course at least once a week. Whether cheering on the Sox or the Bears, or unwinding through art and music, Alec considers his hobbies and creative outlets essential to his well-being.
